A national survey of small-business owners across industries, paired with anonymized platform data. Topics: actual revenue impact of a 1-star drop, how often SBOs spot fake or extorted reviews, awareness of the FTC Consumer Reviews Rule, and where word-of-mouth actually originates in 2026.
How we'll build it
Survey distributed to a US-only audience of small-business owners through email, LinkedIn, and SBO communities. Target: 500+ responses; we'll publish whatever the actual N is, not round it up.
Platform data is aggregated from SignalRoute's own usage at the metric level only — never customer-identifiable.
Every chart will be embeddable so other publications can cite it directly. Methodology and full data notes ship with the report.
