SignalRoute Delight

Beta

Send digital eGift cards or physical treats to customers — automatically after a 5-star signal, or manually from any review.

Beta

This feature is in beta. Behavior may change as we tune the Tremendous and Goody integrations. Please report issues so we can fix them quickly.

Setup

Three steps to turn Delight on for your business.

  1. Step 01

    Enable Delight

In your dashboard, go to Gifts → Settings and tap Enable Delight. We add the $15/mo line to your Stripe subscription and switch on the gift settings for your account.

  2. Step 02

    Set your budget and cap

Pick a per-gift amount (e.g. $10 digital eGift card) and a monthly cap in dollars. Auto-sends pause automatically once you hit the cap; the cap resets on the first of each month.

  3. Step 03

    Choose auto, manual, or both

Toggle the auto-trigger on if you want a digital eGift card to fire on every 5-star private signal. Leave it off if you only want to send manually. You can change either setting at any time without losing history.

Manual sends

Open any review in your dashboard and tap Send Gift. A modal opens with:

  • Type — digital eGift card or physical gift (catalog dropdown).
  • Amount — defaults to your per-gift budget; override per-send.
  • Note — short thank-you, shown to the customer on the redemption email or packing slip.
  • Address — required for physical gifts. We pre-fill anything we already have on the customer record.

Once sent, the gift appears in Gifts with a status of queued, then sent, and (for physical) shipped / delivered as fulfillment events come in.

Auto-trigger (digital only in v1)

When the auto-trigger is on, Delight sends a digital eGift card the moment a 5-star private signal is recorded for your business. The trigger evaluates eligibility server-side and fires inside the same request that records the signal — usually within seconds.

What fires the trigger

  • A private 5-star signal recorded against a review for your business.
  • The customer record has a usable email address.
  • The current month's spend is under your cap.
  • The customer hasn't already received a Delight gift in your dedupe window.

What doesn't

  • 4-star signals or anything below — auto only fires on a clean 5.
  • Public review submissions — the trigger only sees the private signal.
  • Physical gifts — manual-only in v1. Auto-trigger always sends digital.
  • Anything once you've hit the monthly cap. Sends silently pause and resume on the first of next month.

Billing

Delight is billed monthly through Stripe, alongside your SignalRoute subscription. Three components:

Subscription

$15/mo

Flat fee while Delight is enabled.

Gift cost

Pass-through

The face value of every gift you send.

Platform fee

20%

On top of gift cost. Covers fulfillment and reporting.

We meter every send to Stripe in cents at the moment of fulfillment. Your monthly invoice shows the line items split out so you can reconcile against your gift history exactly. The monthly cap is a hard ceiling — once hit, no more sends are billed until the cap resets on the first of the next month.

Compliance & ethics

Delight gifts are sent as customer appreciation. They are never tied to a public review, and we never ask customers to leave a review in exchange for a gift.

A few rules the product enforces so this stays true in practice:

  • No public-review trigger. The auto-trigger fires on a private 5-star signal — never on a posted public review. The code path doesn't even read public review state.
  • No review-platform language. The default note templates frame the gift as appreciation. Custom notes are checked against a short list of phrases ("for your review", "leave us a review", etc.) and flagged in the editor.
  • No claim form.Customers don't fill out anything. They open an email or open a package. There's no place to ask for anything in return.
  • No conditional copy. Gift emails do not say "thanks for your review", "now leave us 5 stars", or any variant. The thank-you is unconditional.

FAQ

Are Delight gifts a payment for reviews?

No. Delight gifts are sent as customer appreciation. They are never tied to a public review, and we never ask the customer to leave a review in exchange for a gift. The auto-trigger fires after a private 5-star signal — it is not contingent on, and never references, a public review.

Does the customer fill out a form?

No. Digital eGift cards arrive as a redeemable code in the customer's email. Physical gifts ship to the address on file. There are no claim forms.

Can I disable the auto-trigger but keep manual sending?

Yes. Open Gifts → Settings, switch the trigger off, and Delight will only send when you tap Send Gift on a review.

What happens when I hit the monthly cap?

Auto-trigger sends are skipped silently for the rest of the month. Manual sends are blocked with a clear error. The cap resets on the first of each month, billing-time-zone.

Can I refund a gift?

Digital eGift cards are non-refundable once the email lands. Physical gifts can be cancelled before shipment — open the gift in your dashboard and tap Cancel. Once shipped, contact support.

Does the customer see who sent the gift?

Yes. The sender name and the optional thank-you note you write are shown on the redemption email and the physical gift packing slip. We never insert SignalRoute branding into the customer-facing message.
